AQUACROSS partner Florian Pletterbauer (BOKU-IHG) and colleagues published a modelling-focused paper in the journal Ecological Modelling. In the paper, entitled “Effect of biotic dependencies in species distribution models: The future distribution of Thymallus thymallus under consideration of Allogamus auricollis,” Florian improves models of future distributions of the freshwater fish species greyling, Thymallus thymallus, by incorporating the predicted distributions of a common prey, the caddisfly, Allogamus auricollis.
