Eugenia Marin is a scientific researcher at INCDDD – Tulcea (Romania). In 2006, she gained her degree in Natural and Agricultural Sciences from the University of Constanta, and in 2008, her Masters degree in Sustainable Management of Geographical Landscapes through Organisation and Regional Development from Bucharest University. She is currently a PhD student. Her area of competence within INCDDD is human geography, socio-economic analyses, public participatory approaches, stakeholder analyses and cultural landscape assessments. She coordinated the national project “Socio-Economic Development Assessment of Local Communities and Promoting Sustainable Economic Activities in the Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve” from 2009-2012 and collaborated in several national and international projects funded by FP7 (TESS - Transactional Environmental Support System), by Interreg (Danube Floodrisk – Stakeholder oriented flood risk assessment for the Danube floodplains), by the Dutch programme partners for Water (Room for the River in Cat’s bend, Romania), and by DANUBEPARKS project (Danube’s River Morphology and Revitalization).
