AQUACROSS is a Horizon 2020 project which aims to support EU efforts to protect aquatic biodiversity and ensure the provision of aquatic ecosystem services. As such, AQUACROSS seeks to advance knowledge and application of ecosystem-based management (EBM) for aquatic ecosystems to support the timely achievement of the EU 2020 Biodiversity Strategy targets.
We are delighted to announce the international AQUACROSS Forum on Ecosystem-based Management of Freshwater, Coastal, and Marine Ecosystems – Insights for Innovation from Science, Policy, and Business that will take place in Alcalá de Henares, Madrid, Spain from June 27 th (starting at 1:00 pm) to 28th (ending at 17:00), 2016.
The Forum is organised by the EU Horizon 2020 research project AQUACROSS: Knowledge, Assessment, and Management for Aquatic Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services across EU policies. It is hosted by IMDEA Water research foundation.
This report describes the AQUACROSS data management plan, which aims to streamline existing data as well as data produced by the project into a single point of access for project partners, scientists and the public.
